ナマハゲを見た後、入道崎へ行きました。
入道崎から秋田駅方面へ海岸沿いをドライブできたら気持ちよさそうと思って、車で男鹿半島を楽しむことにしたのです。
After seeing the Namahage, I headed to Cape Nyudozaki.
I thought it would feel great to drive along the coastline back toward Akita Station, so I decided to enjoy a drive around the Oga Peninsula by car.
入道崎には入道崎灯台があります。この灯台はのぼれる灯台16のうちのひとつで、115段の螺旋階段を上ります。天気が崩れてきて風が強かったのですが、いい景色を見ることができました。
At Nyudozaki, there is the Nyudozaki Lighthouse.
This lighthouse is one of only sixteen climbable lighthouses in Japan, and you can ascend a spiral staircase with 115 steps.
Although the weather started to turn and the wind grew strong, I was still able to enjoy a beautiful view.


風に吹かれて体が冷えてしまったので、海藻の入ったラーメンを昼食にしました。
Feeling chilled from the strong wind, I had a lunch of seaweed ramen to warm up.
その後、海岸沿いをずっと走ると思っていたのですが、実際は山道なども通り、濃霧で視界が悪くてスピードを落として走行したりしました。その先の道の状況がわからないので、男鹿水族館GAOには入らず通過。
I had imagined I would be driving along the coast the whole way back, but in reality, I passed through mountain roads as well.
Visibility was poor due to heavy fog, so I had to slow down and drive carefully.
Since I wasn’t sure about the road conditions ahead, I decided to skip visiting the Oga Aquarium GAO and kept driving.
ゴジラ岩は見ることができました。人がいなくて怖いんですけど……。
I was able to see the famous Godzilla Rock.
鵜の崎海岸も見ました。
I also visited Unosaki Coast.

その後は山道もなさそうで時間に余裕があったので、「道の駅おが」でゆっくりとおやきを食べたり、コーヒーを飲んだり、お土産を買ったりしました。新幹線に持ち込むのが嫌だったので買わなかったのですが、本当は新鮮な野菜や魚をたくさん買いたかったです。道の駅、楽しいですよね。
After that, the roads seemed easier and I had some extra time, so I took a leisurely break at the Michi-no-Eki Oga (Oga Roadside Station).
I enjoyed some oyaki (Japanese stuffed buns), had a cup of coffee, and did a souvenir shopping.
Although I didn’t buy any because I didn’t want to carry them onto the Shinkansen, I actually really wanted to buy lots of fresh vegetables and seafood.
Michi-no-Eki spots are so much fun!
16時前には秋田駅に着き、しょっつる焼きそばを食べました。「しょっつる」は魚醤で美味!
Before 4 p.m., I returned the rental car and arrived back at Akita Station, where I enjoyed a dish of Shottsuru Yakisoba – pan-fried noodles flavored with shottsuru, a type of fermented fish sauce that was absolutely delicious!

17:10発の新幹線に乗って東京に帰りました。
1泊2日でしたが、秋田を満喫しました。
It was only a two-day, one-night trip, but I truly made the most of my time in Akita.
