羽田空港から佐賀空港へ。
I traveled to Saga for three days and two nights starting from January 28, 2025. I flew from Haneda airport to Saga airport.
飛行機が約30分遅れたのですが、空港から佐賀駅バスセンター行きのバスは飛行機の到着に合わせて出発しました。
Although my flight was delayed about 30 minutes, the bus to “Saga Station Bus Center” departed in coordination with the flight’s arrival.
佐賀駅バスセンターの隣のビルに入っている飲食店でランチ。
I had a lunch in a restaurant near the bus center.
そして佐賀駅から唐津駅へと移動しました。JR九州の電車のラッピングは多様で、すごく好きです。そしてJR九州の株主なので、鉄道株主優待券の「1日乗車券」を使いました。
Then I moved from Saga Station to Karatsu Station by train. I really love the variety of train wrappings of JR Kyushu trains. Since I’m a shareholder of JR Kyushu, I used a “One-Day Pass” as one of railway shareholder benefits.
唐津駅から徒歩10分のところにある、「御茶盌窯（おちゃわんがま）」へと向かいます。
I headed to “Ochawagama,” which is about a 10-minute walk from Karatsu Station.

Through such a narrow road,

Ochawagama was used as an official kiln for the Karatsu Domain from the mid to late Edo period, producing a variety of pottery pieces.
残っているのがすごいですね！
変な人に壊されたりしないといいけど……。
It’s amazing that it’s still standing!
I just hope it doesn’t get damaged by vandals or anything like that…
その後、近くの唐津焼の名門窯元「中里太郎右衛門陶房」と「陳列館」で、唐津焼を見ました。この窯元は約430年の歴史があるとか。陳列館では、クラッシックなものからモダンなものまでの唐津焼を買うことができますよ。
After that, I visited the prestigious Karatsu ware kiln “Nakazato Tarouemon Kiln” and its exhibition hall nearby, where I viewed various pieces of Karatsu ware. This kiln has a history of about 430 years. At the exhibition hall, you can purchase Karatsu ware ranging from classic styles to modern designs.
