After exploring Nagoya Castle, I took a bus back to Ōteguchi in Karatsu.
From Karatsu Station, I used a JR Kyushu shareholder benefit day pass to travel to Imari Station.

From Imari Station, I took the Matsuura Railway to Arita Station. The first place I headed to was KILN ARITA, a tourist information center. There, I rented a bicycle.
I visited the Koransha Old Porcelain Museum, the former Tashiro Family Western-style House, the Tengudani Kiln Ruins, and the back alleys with traditional “tonbai” walls.

After that, I returned toward Arita Station and headed to Arita Sera, a shopping complex lined with specialty porcelain shops.
As a porcelain lover, I felt like I could stay there forever.
Although I came across many beautiful pieces I wanted to buy, I ended up not purchasing anything — I’m currently trying to live with fewer belongings.
I returned the bike and took the train departing Arita Station at 16:58, arriving at Takeo Onsen Station at 17:17.
After checking into my hotel, I had dinner at Steakhouse Kodama, where I enjoyed a delicious steak made from either Saga beef or Imari beef — I can’t quite remember which!
Considering its quality and how tasty it was, it felt very reasonably priced.
